ANNUAL MEETING 2020 : POSTPONED / CANCELLED
Dear Incog,
It may not surprise you to hear that the Committee have taken the decision to postpone the upcoming Annual General Meeting given the current global situation surrounding Covid-19, with its related travel restrictions and social distancing guidance.
We will monitor the situation in the hope that it can be rescheduled soon.
Those club officials requiring annual re-election will remain as "Acting" in their current roles until such time as the meeting can be rescheduled, or if not possible this season, they may request the membership's consent to continue via alternative voting methods, or indeed a postponement until the Club's 2021 AGM.
We will also be in close contact with our oppositions to establish the status of (in particular) our early-season fixtures.
I hope you understand and support this decision, and of course the Club hopes that all its members remain well and not too adversely affected by current events.
