Privacy Statement & Data Protection

Dear Incog,

No doubt this will be one of many hundreds of emails you have received about the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

In brief, we need to inform you that Incogniti Cricket Club holds personal information about you that you supplied willingly when you applied to join the Club.  We will not share it with any third-party not directly associated with the club or its activities.  We will not seek to monetise or market your details,  and will hold them as securely as possible to prevent any data breach.

The Club has adopted the attached privacy policy, which we trust will give you confidence that we take your privacy and the protection of your data seriously.

The club has a legitimate interest in continuing to contact and hold relevant data about you as a member in order to fulfil our primary activity as a sports club. We have therefore presumed your consent for us to do so (there is no requirement for you to "opt in" again).  However, should you wish to opt out of club emails, there are links at the bottom of each one to do so.  You may also update and set privacy settings on your profile via the Club Website, or by emailing the Honorary Secretary.  If you wish to remove your details from the club's annual printed literature, you may do so by emailing the Club's Honorary Secretary.  You may also contact the club to check what data is held about you by replying to this email.

If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me.
