Match report After a tricky start, in which the Eyre brothers failed to trouble the scorer, the Incogs innings settled down with keeper Pearce steadying the ship along with debutant Angad Ajgaonkar. A partnership of 95 ended with Pearce being removed for 28, and allowing all players to not only turn up, but return from lunch too! The constant throughout the whole innings with Ajgaonkar's dream debut: an imperious 151 not out, supported with some attacking stroke play at the back end of the innings from Ben Wakeford (27) and Ollie Wood (51 not out). Incogs confidently declared on 278-5 with an anticipated 55 overs to take ten wickets.

The Hogs innings took a similar start to hte Incogs: two early wickets, but then things settled down for the third wicket, broken by the returning Arnould at 99-3. Both Arnould and Malik kept the Incogs in the game, although unfortunately didn't take any further wickets. The match was evenly poised throughout, with neither side running away with the game, although the Hogs tended to have wickets in hand and looked favourites, especially before their fourth wicket fell for 172. It was the returning combination of the opening bowlers Wood and Boothroyd that started to pick up wickets. However, the Hogs' number 3 Sharma batted throughout, and kept them in with a chance. It wasn't until towards the end of the innings, that he seemed to be unsure of how to navigate getting the final runs, despite being dismissed with 33 runs required, and approximately 9 overs remaining. Ollie Wood ended up with 3 wickets to go with his unbeaten 50, and Boothroyd 6. A terrific game ended up with an equally terrific result!
